Advancing Agriculture with AgRobotics Solutions

The role of AgRobotics Working Group is to be a single-point resource for producers and industry to learn about new technologies, get support for existing technologies, and collaborate for the betterment of the Ontario AgRobotics ecosystem.

The AgRobotics Working Group is funded by the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP). The Sustainable CAP is a five-year, $3.5-billion investment by federal, provincial and territorial governments to strengthen competitiveness, innovation, and resiliency of Canada’s agriculture, agri‐food and agri‐based products sector. This includes $1 billion in federal programs and activities and a $2.5-billion commitment that is cost-shared 60 per cent federally and 40 per cent provincially/territorially for programs that are designed and delivered by provinces and territories.

How do we achieve this?

  • Member-to-member outreach through our weekly meetings, demo days, event attendance, and industry connections

  • Mentorship support for start-up, early-stage AgTech and AgRobotics-based companies

  • Research support to ground truth commercially ready robotic solutions
